~~~Tuesday 18th May 2004~~~ Got my DeviantART account. Will upload new images to there from now on. Laterz! ~~~Friday 14th May 2004~~~ Hey, sorry there haven't been any consistant updates. But, I do have some CG art for you guys. I may set up a DeviantART account in the future. Just for fun :) Anyways, this was basically supposed to be a colour check for Hero, but then I though "Hey, this could probably make a cool wallpaper!" so I decided to try out some funky backgrounds to go with the character. A proper wallpaper style version will be up soon, along with the logo. But for now, I'll leave you with this piece of eye-candy and go sleep. Good night, good morning, good afternoon, and good Noodle to you all. ~~~Tuesday 4th May 2004~~~ Okay, I've uploaded some sketches. Okay, well one for now =p Anyways, these sketches are what I'm using for the basic elements of Battle Armour Hero. This is the first time I've really done character sheets, so I'm just trying to get the feel of it right. Anyways, this sketch is one of about ten I've completed now. At this rate, I should be able to start the comics in late June as I said in the earlier news. You know, days move by pretty slowly now sometimes. Then sometimes the speed picks up and I'm having to push myself to two-hundred percent just to keep up. Somehow, I like being an eighteen-year-old: this is the most exciting time of my life, and I urge all other people in the same age group and situation as me to keep going through life. This is the time to shine, and I'm not backing down. You guys'll get Battle Armour Hero and I'll give everyone a story of Japanese Mecha and emotion with some 21st century style. Revolutions, kids ;) - Noodles, biding you all a goodnight and to watch out for rabid monkeys. Oh yeah, they're about, and they're hungry for banana-cream pie O.O ~~~Sunday 2nd May 2004~~~ Today I update in memory of a great musician. His name was Hideto Matsumoto, AKA hide of X Japan. hide was an incredible person, and was the only role-model I've ever had. I discovered both X Japan and hide long after X Japan's disbanding and hide's untimely death. So today I have created some art in memory of hide. It's not as good as I hoped it'd be, but it felt hard drawing something that fully conveyed what I felt...mainly because I'm not really sure what I feel. I'm not sad or happy to any extremes...just normal. Perhaps it's better that way - maybe hide would prefer if people continued to go through life without too much worry. It's really hard for me to word what I want to say, but regardless I've tried. In other news, I'll have character sheet scans up of Battle Armour Hero soon - I did have some ready but after an initial scan I see some of my pencil lines are too light so I've got to draw some parts. Oh yeah, and I think I've miserably failed all my College courses now. Cool!!! XD Well for now, gotta go! Laterz --Noodles ~~~Friday 22nd April 2004~~~ Yes I know. Baaaaaaaaaaaaad Noodles, no updates >.< Well, I have no excuse so I'll give it to you guys straight. The Comics will be probably starting late June. Why this sudden date change (not to mention evil delay)? Well, College is getting in gear to kick my ass if I don't get some work done. Also, I finished watching my Excel Saga DVDs, bought X Singles and X - On The Verge Of Destruction (all X fans, if you haven't already got OTVOD I have only one thing to say: BUY NOW). Really I've sold my soul to the now-disbanded X-Japan, but what the hey, it gives me the motivation I need to get through life. On brighter notes, I have been getting on with the sketch work for Battle Armour Hero and may upload some when I have the time. I never knew it was so hard to design action-hero armour things, and for that the guys who think up new Power Rangers stuff for every year now have my respect - I'll never understand how they manage to get all the details sorted in such a short time. In any case, Hero's armour has been finalised (it's not really modified from its present look on the trailer comic) and I have planned up to eight weapons and a lot of upgrades. Integrating the old Metal Emotion story in Battle Armour Hero has been challenging, but I think I've done enough to be able to produce a story that improves a hundred-fold over the original story. Again, I'm sorry with such delays but please understand that my needs in College need to be addressed before this comic in any and every circumstance. The good news is that in a little over two months I should be rid of College (ha!) so I'll be able to concentrate my efforts on the comic with full force. I'll get some sketches uploaded soon, and I'll keep you guys posted on new sketches and other relevant news items over the next few weeks. For now, there's nothing else but sleep so I bid you a good night wherever you are in the world. Noodles, out (Goddamn I need a new end phrase :/) ~~~Tuesday 23rd March 2004~~~ Oops, updates slipping again. Well, sue me, I've yet to finalise a schedule for the comic (not to mention cram in the L33t3ST skillz I need to design a better looking site and/or-at-least better looking artwork. Anyways, the trailer comic should be up now so look forward to the actual comic coming soon. I'd give it about a week or somethin'... I'd like to try to redesign the site between now and May but first I need to learn HTML again. Ah bugger it, I'm going to sleep. Night. By the way, if anyone knows the UK Release Date for Sonic Advance 3, please share this information. Thanks - Noodles out |
